 Hypertrophic muscle band (HMB) in left ventricular (LV) cavity is a rare echocardiographic finding, especially in the absence of LV hypertrophy. Although this entity has been seen in the western population (1,2), it is rarely seen in their Asian counterparts. So far, to the best of our knowledge, only three cases have been reported from Asia.
